Slice the cherry top to bottom five times around pit and soak in the amaretto. Muddle the cider, sage, saffron, brown sugar, orange peels, and orange zest in a cocktail shaker. Add the bourbon and ice, and stir. Double- strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with the amaretto-soaked cherry.

 - 3 dashes Angostura bitters
 - 1 oz fizz water
 - 2 orange wedges
 - 2 sweet or sour cherries
 
Muddle the bitters, curaçao, one of the orange slices, and one of the cherries in a rocks glass. Remove the orange rind and add the bourbon, fizz water, and ice. Garnish with the remaining orange wedge and cherry.
- 1 ½ oz Maker's Mark bourbon
 - ¾ oz Disaronno amaretto
 - 2 dashes peach bitters
 - 2 star anise pods
 
Shake the liquid ingredients and one of the star anise pods with a reasonable amount of fury and double-strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry and the remaining star anise pod.
- 1 ½ oz Wild Turkey bourbon
 - ¾ oz Drambuie
 - 1 ½ oz apple cider
 - ½ oz lemon juice
 - 1 dash Whiskey Barrel Aged bitters
 
Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
